Q1: What time does the event start and end?

A1: The event begins with doors opening for registration at 8:30 am, concluding at 10:15 am. The drift track is open for driving until 4 pm, but the site remains accessible until 6 pm for additional activities and networking.

 

Q2: Is there a briefing for drivers?

A2: Yes, there is a mandatory drivers' briefing at 10:30 am at the track entrance. Absence from this briefing will result in denied access to the circuit.

 

Q3: What are the vehicle and driver requirements for the track?

A3: All vehicles must undergo a basic safety inspection before being allowed on the circuit. They must have a complete set of panels, functioning tail lights, and front and rear towing eyes in a usable condition. In-car fire extinguishers are also compulsory. Additionally, all vehicles must be free from oil leaks and have a securely fastened battery. For safety, all drivers are required to wear helmets and long-sleeve clothing.

 

Q4: Can I bring an additional driver or a passenger?

A4: Yes, you can add one additional driver to your booking. The additional driver will need a valid ticket to participate (available at checkout) and will need to pay a £10 entry fee at the door. Passengers are also welcome (with a valid ticket purchasable at checkout) and required to pay a £10 entry fee at the door.

 

Q5: What are the risks involved in participating?

A5: Participating in the drift track day exposes you to potential risks, including the risk of death, permanent disability, or other serious injuries. These risks may persist even in instances of negligence by the event organisers or other parties. Your decision to participate is at your own risk.

 

Q6: Is there a waiver to sign before participating?

A6: Yes, all participants are required to read and sign a waiver acknowledging the risks and releasing the organisers and related parties from liability. This is a standard procedure for all participants to ensure safety and understanding of the event's nature.

 

Q7: Are there any facilities available on site?

A7: Yes, the site is equipped with basic amenities for participants and spectators, including toilets and food vendors. We strive to make your experience comfortable and enjoyable.

 

Q8: What happens if my vehicle fails the safety inspection?

A8: If your vehicle fails the safety inspection, you will not be allowed to participate in the drift activities. We recommend ensuring that your vehicle meets all the required safety standards before arriving at the event.

Q9: Can I transfer or resell my ticket?

No, you will not be permitted to resell or transfer a ticket. All tickets are driver specific. You can only buy tickets directly through SKIDZ UK.
